About The Position

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $87,600 annually. Local, home daily (Unless emergency). Weekends Off. You will drive Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all. What you will do: Touch freight - electric pallet jack and forklift operations. Average 10 stops per week. Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. Home Daily. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM dispatch.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years.
3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
English language proficiency.
Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.

Responsibilities

Drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks.
Operate electric pallet jack and forklift operations.
Average 10 stops per week.
Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required.
Complete Penske employment application.
Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
Accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
