About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role operates haul trucks to transport raw materials within the plant site, performs pre- and post-operation inspections, communicates effectively with dispatch and plant personnel, follows site safety procedures and traffic regulations, and assists with basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a production environment
- Strong awareness of surroundings and commitment to safety
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to changing conditions
- Basic mechanical understanding and attention to operational details
Responsibilities
- Operate haul trucks to transport raw materials within the plant site
