About The Position
Move & Pick Up Equipment. Coordinate with your store Dispatcher to transport equipment between stores, and to and from customer locations.
Requirements
- Class A License
- Experience loading and unloading heavy equipment
- Ability to operate various Ag machinery
- Forklift Certified and Experienced
- Excellent Communication Skills
- communication with customers in coordinating delivery schedules
- communicating basic equipment functions
- Knowledge of Traffic Laws and Permit Requirements
- Organization and Timeliness with Paperwork
- Basic Mechanical Knowledge Needed to Perform Inspections on Truck & Trailer
Responsibilities
- Hauling Equipment to and from different store locations and customer locations
- Inspecting truck and trailer daily to ensure safety precautions are met
- Filling out paperwork (time sheets, truck logs, daily inspection sheet and delivery slips) in a timely and accurate manner
- Knowing and abiding by traffic and permit laws
- Making sure your truck and trailer are up-to-date and inspected on a daily basis
- Knowing and abiding by California Labor Laws, including when and how to take state/federal required breaks
- Getting hauls done in a timely manner without unacceptable downtime
- Safely loading, tying down and unloading equipment
