About The Position

Experienced CDL-A Dry Van Drivers are needed for Over-the-Road (OTR) positions. Drivers can expect to earn between $2,100 and $2,600 weekly, with pay based on mileage driven at $0.70-$0.75 per mile for all miles (empty and loaded). Additional compensation is provided for detention, layover, and extra stops. The company offers safety bonuses and cash advances. This is a 1099 contractor position. The routes cover the Midwest, South, and Southeast regions. The company provides modern trucks (2022-2027 models) equipped with a fridge, microwave, and inverter. The freight is no-touch and consists of clean items such as mechanicals, electronics, books, and car parts, hauled in a 48ft Dry Van trailer. Drivers will be on the road for 3-5 weeks at a time, with 3-5 days off, and have the option to take the truck home. The pay schedule runs Monday to Monday, with paychecks issued every Friday via direct deposit. The company covers the cost of flight and drug tests for drivers based in IL.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class A
  • Valid medical card
  • Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL-A experience

Responsibilities

  • Drive a 48ft Dry Van trailer hauling clean items (mechanicals, electronics, books, car parts, etc.).
  • Operate a no-touch freight, live load system.
  • Complete routes in the Midwest, South, and Southeast regions.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a good driving record.
  • Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
  • Communicate with dispatch and relevant parties regarding load status and any issues.
