About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Grimes, IA — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. You might be wondering what your paycheck will look like. $ 975 or more per week - And it gets better Driver Positions Pay Weekly Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week Paid Training Schedule: Monday – Friday Start Time: 6:00 AM Dispatch. This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service. Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer Other tasks as assigned. Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Must have verifiable driving experience (must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck): 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
• Candidates who possess a valid Commercial Drivers License will be subject to FMCSA requirements, including but not limited to, pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse query.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 12 months of verifiable box truck driving experience
