About The Position
Our Truck Drivers (Class C) - Home Pickups supports our corporate and home pick-up department by operating company vehicles to transfer product to transportation hubs.
Requirements
- VALID CLASS C NORTH CAROLINA DRIVER LICENSE
- Stick shift/ Straight Truck experience
- Experience in delivery driving
- Experience in loading and unloading truck
- A friendly, team worker who is able to learn the various Goodwill locations and who quickly adapts to the procedures of the transportation department.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Local driving (in the Northwest NC area) to corporate donors and home locations to pick up donated items, and possibly home locations to pick up donated items, which may be loose or in large, rolling bins. Donated items include furniture.
- May possibly pickup at stores and donations trailers.
- Downloading trucks.
- Along with a helper, will lift and carry up over 50 lbs on occasion, using the pallet jack and possibly forklift to load and unload the truck as necessary.
- Physically moving bins and buggies into and off of truck.
