Flex Truck Driver - Class A - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers. This position requires the driver to travel regionally to work at various locations as needed. Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages. Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered. Drivers can expect to be away from home 2 to 3 weeks per assignment. Drivers will travel to assigned location, and work from there for duration of work assignment. You will drive late model, Penske maintained trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all. Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Ability to see and hear
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit
- Ability to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
Responsibilities

- Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
- Travel regionally to work at various locations as needed
- Operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
