About The Position

Will pick up and deliver packages, will drive vehicles, generator trailer, fork truck, heavy trucks, tractor trailer combination with all related endorsement as required. General unskilled labor includes, but not limited to, digging, shoveling and plowing snow, lifting and carrying heavy loads, moving furniture and equipment, loading and unloading trucks, placing shores or rigging under the direction of a rigger, and all other similar functions involving primarily manual labor. Will make occasional use of special tools such as air or electric hammers, drills and paving breakers. Participation in snow removal is a condition of employment. Will provide 24-hour emergency response as necessary to support snow removal operations and emergencies. This position is physically demanding, and the individual must be able to lift and move heavy objects and equipment up to 50 lbs. as well as climb ladders and stairs.

Requirements

Maintain a valid DOT CDL Class A commercial driver’s license with air endorsement
Possess an associated Department of Transportation physical examination certificate
Successfully pass DOT drug testing
Possess a license to operate hoisting machinery 2A-1C
Possess a valid CDL Class A license
Two years' heavy truck driving experience
Two years' snow removal experience
Provide a copy of CDL License, Department of Transportation Physical Examination Certificate, and a copy of current driving record (Motor Vehicle Report) if scheduled for an interview
Be able to lift and move heavy objects and equipment up to 50 lbs.
Be able to climb ladders and stairs
Obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance
U.S. citizenship is required
