Truck Driver - Class A Doubles - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Earn up to $100,000 annually with a $5,000 retention bonus. Additional performance incentives are available, up to $10,400 annually. A driver referral bonus program offers up to $5,000 per referral. Doubles endorsement and experience are preferred. Drivers will work at various dedicated accounts and shifts locally as needed, performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. Trailer unloading will be done using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages. A scanner will be used to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered. Dispatch times will vary depending on the work assignment. Drivers will operate late model, Penske-maintained trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety for all. Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency is required (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
- Ability to work the required schedule, at the specific location required
- Complete Penske employment application
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner as this position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
