Truck Driver - Class A Doubles - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Home Daily Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $92,735 annually. Additional safety incentives available. Monday through Friday. Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral. Doubles endorsement required. Experience preferred; training can be provided. You will drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all. This is a dedicated linehaul doubles route. Doubles assignments involve hauling two 28' PUP trailers between locations. It is no touch; drop and hook. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
- The associate must be able to see and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- The associate must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
