About The Position

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers. Average $84,309 annually. Monday through Friday. Home daily. Dedicated route. You will drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all. Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to customers. Unload truck using manual pallet jacks. Typical routes include 4 stops and 1 transfer per route. Schedule is Monday through Friday with an 11:30 PM dispatch.

Requirements

Valid Class B CDL
Airbrake endorsement required
Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
English language proficiency
Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

Responsibilities

Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to customers
Unload truck using manual pallet jacks
Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
Operate a motor vehicle legally and safely, and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
