Truck Driver - CDL Class B - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Home Daily Class B Delivery Truck Drivers. Average $65468 annually. Additional performance incentives available, up to $10,400 annually. Dedicated route, home daily. Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages. Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered. Schedule: 12 am to 9:30 am Tuesday through Saturday. Average 45 hours per week. Home daily. You will drive: Late model, Penske maintained trucks. Best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety. Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL
- Airbrake endorsement required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
Responsibilities
- Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
- Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
- Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
- Accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
