About The Position

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers. Average $67,288 Annually. $10,000 Retention Bonus. Local, home daily. You will drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety. Trucks are equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all. The schedule includes PM dispatch, a 5-day schedule (Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday), averaging 60 hours per week, and you will be home daily.

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required.
• Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• English language proficiency is required.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
• Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.
• Unload using manual pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.
