Truck Driver - CDL Class B - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers Earn $32.36 per hour Overtime after 40 hours Local, home daily. You will drive Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks, best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all. What you will do: Deliver medical supplies needed to provide patient care to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers. Consistently manages an average workload of 60 to 70 stops per week. Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. Home Daily. Schedule: Monday through Friday, Early AM.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
- This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
- Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
