Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $87,575 annually. Top earners make up to $100,000 annually. Monday through Friday schedule with AM start times. Home daily, with approximately 1 layover every 2 weeks. Driver referral bonus program, up to $5,000 per referral. Driver-focused leadership with firsthand Class A driving experience and industry expertise. You will drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all. The driver will deliver mattresses to customers, traveling within IN, IA, KY, WI, OH and MO. Primarily home daily; 2 layovers per month required.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency required
- Must be able to see and hear
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg

Responsibilities
- Deliver mattresses to customers
- Travel within IN, IA, KY, WI, OH and MO
- Operate late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks
- Ensure safety for all through the use of in-cab cameras
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
- Work the required schedule and at the specific location required
- Complete Penske employment application
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Maintain a constant state of alertness and operate in a safe manner
- Accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
- Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
