The CDL Class A Driver position in Allentown, PA, supports the laundry by providing courteous, professional linen and garment delivery to partners in the healthcare community. The role involves operating tractor-trailer and straight truck delivery vehicles, loading and unloading laundry carts, performing pre and post-trip inspections, verifying shipments, reporting mechanical issues, keeping the vehicle clean and stocked, delivering clean linen, and picking up soiled linens.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
minimum of 2 years of previous driving experience are required.
CDL Class A
DOT Medical card
experience driving a tractor-trailer and straight truck delivery vehicles are all required.
Excellent communication (verbal) skills.
Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate tractor-trailer and straight truck delivery vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
Load and unload laundry carts on and off the vehicle.
Pre and post-trip inspections and shipment verifications and report any mechanical issues.
Keep vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies.
Deliver clean linen to local hospitals and health care facilities and pick up soiled linens.
Jockey before and after each run as needed
