Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $83000 annually. Home daily. Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral. You will drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all. Routes have multi-stop store deliveries where drivers are responsible for unloading their trailers using pallet jacks. Average 20 stops per week. Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. Dispatch times will vary depending on the work assignment. Schedule flexibility is a must.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- English language proficiency is required
- Must complete Penske employment application
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
