About The Position

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Earn $33 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours. $80000 average W2. You will drive Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks that are best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, and equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all. What you will do: Deliver bakery and food products to stores. 1 layover per week. Schedule: Monday through Friday. Weekends off. AM start time.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
English language proficiency
The associate must be able to see and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.

Responsibilities

Deliver bakery and food products to stores

Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Complete Penske employment application
Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
