About The Position

Penske Logistics is seeking Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers for immediate opportunities. This role offers an hourly wage of $31.13 plus overtime after 40 hours, with drivers being home daily. Penske provides excellent health care coverage including medical, dental, and vision. Drivers will operate late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks, which are best-in-class for comfort and equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras for safety. The position involves delivering medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers, managing an average workload of 20 to 25 stops per week, and maintaining a professional demeanor with customers. Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • English language proficiency (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
  • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
  • Complete Penske employment application
  • Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
  • Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others

Responsibilities

  • Deliver medical supplies needed to provide patient care to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers
  • Consistently manages an average workload of 20 to 25 stops per week
