Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Earn $25.63 per hour with overtime after 40 hours and a shift differential when applicable. This is a local position, meaning you'll be home daily. You will drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety. You will deliver medical supplies needed to provide patient care to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers. Unload trailers using pallet jacks, plastic totes, carts, and lift gates, averaging 15 stops per week. The schedule is a 5-day work week for a 24/7 operation, with dispatch varying depending on the route being covered, so schedule flexibility is a must.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Complete Penske employment application
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.

Responsibilities

- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
