About The Position

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers. This is a home daily dedicated route position with a Monday through Friday schedule, offering no-touch freight with drop-and-hook operations. Drivers will operate late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks, equipped with advanced safety features. The role involves safely performing drop-and-hook and live-load deliveries of manufacturing components, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintaining professional customer interactions.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
English language proficiency is required
Must complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others

Responsibilities

Safely perform drop-and-hook and live-load deliveries of manufacturing components to customers
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on all tractors and equipment used
Escalate equipment repair needs in a timely manner
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and dispatch
