Truck Driver CDL Class A
About The Position
Local UDS Drivers are responsible for delivering products to small retailers on a set route. They will manually unload their trucks using a hand dolly, build rapport with customers, and stock shelves and coolers as requested. No previous experience is required as drivers will receive hands-on training upon hire. The work involves driving, customer delivery, and stocking shelves. This position could utilize various types of trucks and trailers, including Tractor Trailers, Semi-Trailers, Pup Trailers, Box Trucks, 28 ft Trailers, 32 ft Trailers, 53 ft Trailers, Delivery Trucks with side loads or side bays, and trailers with lift gates. Equipment used may include pallet jacks and hand dollies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License A (CDL A).
- Ability to maintain valid DOT Driver Qualification File.
