Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $120000 annually. Local, home daily. Driver will be responsible for making multiple stop deliveries where they will unload their trailer, and restock bakery items in the store. Drivers will deliver to one of the most recognized convenience store chains in the Mid-Atlantic Region, which is known for delighting its customers with everyday, built-to-order foods. Provide high-level customer service while making deliveries. You will drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort. Schedule: Five-day work week with two consecutive days off. Weekends required. PM dispatch.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency is required
- Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
Responsibilities

- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Work the required schedule
- Complete Penske employment application
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
- Accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
