Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $85000 annually. No weekends. Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral. Home daily. You will drive Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all. Driver will deliver corrugated material to NJ, PA, DE, MD, and VA customers. 20 to 30 deliveries per week. Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. Home daily. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:30am to 6am start time.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Must work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others

Responsibilities
- Deliver corrugated material to NJ, PA, DE, MD, and VA customers
- Perform 20 to 30 deliveries per week
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
