Truck Driver - CDL Class A - $5K Retention Bonus - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $100000 annually. $5000 retention bonus. Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral. You will drive: Late model, Freightliner and Volvo trucks, Penske Truck Leasing trucks. Best-in-class specs designed for comfort. Equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all. What you will do: Routes have multi-stop deliveries where drivers are responsible for unloading tires from their trailers. Drivers are responsible for counting the exact number of tires being delivered to each customer. 4 layovers required per week. Schedule: Workdays: Sunday through Thursday. Sunday: Mid‑Day dispatch. Monday through Thursday: Start time is 5:00 AM to 6:00 AM, the rest of the week.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- English language proficiency
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
