Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $79040 annually. Home daily. Dedicated route with consistent schedule. Mostly driving with fewer delivery stops. Monday through Friday schedule. You will drive: Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks. Best-in-class specs designed for comfort. Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all. Day Cab with 48' / 53' Automatic Trailers. What you will do: Deliver to locations on a dedicated route. Average 15 delivery stops per week. Complete 5 transfers per week using manual pallet jack equipment. Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
- Complete Penske employment application
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
- The associate must be able to see and hear
- The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
- The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
Responsibilities

- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
