Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $87,575 annually. Top earners make up to $100,000 annually. Monday through Friday schedule with AM start times. Home daily, with approximately 1 layover every 2 weeks. Driver referral bonus program, up to $5,000 per referral. Driver-focused leadership with firsthand Class A driving experience and industry expertise. You will drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all. Driver will deliver mattresses to customers, traveling within IN, IA, KY, WI, OH and MO. Primarily home daily; 2 layovers per month required. Schedule: Monday through Friday, Dispatch: 4 AM to 9 AM.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- English language proficiency is required
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
- Complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
