About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-Time Floater Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $85000 Annually. Home Daily. AM Dispatch. Double Route Pay. Layover Pay. Monthly Safety Bonus. You will drive Late Model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort. Driver will deliver product for one of the largest retailers in North America. Home Daily. Deliver freight in MI and Northern OH. Schedule: Monday through Friday with an AM start time. 2 consecutive days off per week.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Complete Penske employment application
- The associate must be able to see and hear
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
- The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle

Responsibilities
- Deliver product for one of the largest retailers in North America
- Deliver freight in MI and Northern OH
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
