About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $65000 to $67000 Annually. Local, home daily. No touch, drop & hook. You will drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all. What you will do: Shuttle routes to different customer facilities. No touch, drop and hook. Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. Home Daily. Schedule: Monday through Friday, AM & PM dispatch.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- English language proficiency
- Work the required schedule
- Work at the specific location required
- Complete Penske employment application
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history)
- Submit to drug screening
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
