About The Position

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $78500 Annually. Monday through Friday. Home Daily. Dedicated Linehaul. You will drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort. These trucks are equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all. The role involves linehaul from Coppell to Cuero, TX and back. Drivers will maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. The schedule is Monday through Friday with an 8 PM start time. Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
English language proficiency is required.
The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

Responsibilities

Linehaul from Coppell to Cuero, TX and back
Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
Safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
