As a CDL Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting cargo to and from specified destinations. You will prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. Requirements

• Must have a "satisfactory" driving record
• Must have CDL Classification/Certification
• Requires applicable truck driver license for state
• High school degree or equivalent required
• Must have a valid CDL License
• 2 years required of truck driving experience
• Forklift experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
• Vision - near, far, night
• Ability to detect or tell differences between sounds varying in pitch and loudness
• Ability to quickly respond (with hand, finger, foot) to signals (sound, light, picture) when it appears

Responsibilities

• Drive a truck with capacity up to three tons and usually six wheels to transport materials
• Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo
• Prepare delivery schedule
• Deliver materials to locations designated by the customer
• Obtain customer’s signature for proof of delivery and help to unload truck
• Perform the duties of Warehouse Associate when not driving the truck and making deliveries
