About The Position

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $85000 annually. Monday through Friday. Home daily. Up to $3000 annually for strong safety performance. Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral. You will drive Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all. Multi-stop deliveries tires to retail customer locations by rolling them directly from the trailer to receiving personnel for inventory processing. Count and verify the exact number of tires being delivered to each retail customer to ensure order accuracy. Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. Schedule: Monday through Friday. Routes typically dispatch between 4:00 AM to 6:00 AM. Hours vary by route and delivery appointment times.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• English language proficiency is required.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
• Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
