Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $76500 annually. Mostly home daily with the possibility of a layover route. Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral. Premium driver incentive available. What you will do: 27 weekly multi-stop deliveries to stores of a major coffee chain. High volume loading and unloading utilizing hand dolly & lift gate to unload coffee and milk products from a refrigerated trailer. Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. Scan items as they are unloaded and delivered. Schedule: Scheduling flexibility required as dispatch times will vary. Dispatch times typically range between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Mostly home daily with the possibility of layover route. You will drive: Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks. Dual zone reefer trailer for temperature-controlled loads. Best-in-class specs designed for comfort, including automatic transmissions. Equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years.
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- English language proficiency is required.
- Must complete Penske employment application.
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
