Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Penske Logistics is seeking Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers for immediate opportunities. Drivers will operate late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks, designed for comfort, to shuttle routes to different customer facilities. The role involves no-touch, live load/unload freight and offers local, home daily routes. Penske emphasizes safety, customer service, and building relationships with accounts, often driving client-branded trucks and wearing their uniforms. The company provides training opportunities, a stable nationwide presence, excellent equipment, management, communication, and a strong safety record. Drivers are paid weekly and are typically home daily.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- English language proficiency (compliant with 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
- Work the required schedule

- Complete Penske employment application
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history)
- Submit to drug screening
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner (regulated by DOT or designated as safety sensitive)
Responsibilities
- Drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
- Shuttle routes to different customer facilities
- Perform no touch, live load / unload
- Deliver products safely and on time
- Provide incredible customer service and build relationships with accounts
- Represent Penske and clients (driving their branded trucks and wearing their uniform)
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
