About The Position

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers. This is a regional travel position with paid travel time, offering an average annual salary of $90,000+. Drivers will receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus and work a Monday through Friday schedule with no over-the-road driving. Additional compensation includes $100 layover pay and $50 per diem when traveling, with hotel accommodations and rental car provided. A Hazmat endorsement is required within 90 days of hire. Drivers will travel regionally to support operations at various locations, delivering automotive parts and supplies to retail stores on multi-stop routes. Freight will be unloaded using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and deliveries will be tracked using a scanner. Dispatch times vary based on the assigned route, and drivers will travel to assigned locations and work there for the duration of the assignment. Drivers will operate late model, Penske maintained trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
English language proficiency is required
Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
