About The Position

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $90000 annually. Local, Home Daily. Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral. You will drive late model, Freightliner and Volvo trucks, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort. Driver will be delivering aluminum coils and scrap for the customer. Mainly drop & hook, with some strapping and tarping. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4pm Dispatch.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• English language proficiency is required.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
• Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver aluminum coils and scrap for the customer.
• Perform mainly drop and hook operations.
• Conduct some strapping and tarping.
