Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL License.
- A clean driving record with no major accidents and no alcohol or drug convictions.
- Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
- Sitting 90%
- Standing or walking 3%
- Desk or phone work 5%
- Lifting, shifting or arranging product 2%
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year all weather driving is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate tractor with 53’ van trailer on various roads and highways throughout designated Regions.
- Deliveries from distribution center to stores and depots throughout the region.
- With 100% drop & hook runs and driving that is done at night when there is less traffic, spend most of your night actually on the road driving!
- Maintain compliance with ELD, vehicle condition reports, and all other aspects of DOT compliance.
- Keep updated on current DOT rules and regulations.
