Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Earn $29.91 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours. Home daily. Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral. Excellent health care coverage-medical, dental, and vision. Dedicated route with consistent daily deliveries. Boot allowance available. You will drive: Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort. You will drive a 48' trailer, 53' trailer, Automatic, Day-Cab, Dry Van, and Straight Truck. These vehicles are equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all. What you will do: Deliver medical supplies needed to provide patient care to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers. Consistently manage an average workload of 60 plus stops per week. Complete approximately 5 transfers and 5 drop & hooks per week. Operate electric and manual pallet jacks, hand carts, totes, and dock plates. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. Schedule: 5-day work week, Monday through Friday. Third-shift dispatch (2:30 AM start). 45 to 50 hours per week.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
- This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company
Responsibilities

- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
- Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
