Truck Driver - CDL Class A Floater - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Home Daily Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $86476 annually with additional performance incentives available, up to $10,400 annually. A $10000 Sign-on Bonus is offered. Drivers will cover various routes and assignments as needed, performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. The role involves unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and using a scanner to record products as they are unloaded and delivered. Dispatch times will vary depending on the work assignment, but drivers will be home daily. You will drive late model, Penske maintained trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency required (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required as this position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
