Truck Driver - CDL Class A Doubles - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $73500 annually. Monday through Friday. Home daily. Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral. Doubles endorsement and experience required. This role involves a Doubles Linehaul Route out of Amarillo, TX. The schedule is Monday through Friday with an 8:00 PM dispatch time. Drivers will operate late model, Penske maintained trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort. Drivers are paid every Friday and are typically home daily.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required.
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years.
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
- English language proficiency.
- Ability to work the required schedule.
- Ability to work at the specific location required.
- Complete Penske employment application.
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history).
- Submit to a drug screening.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

- Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
