About The Position

CXI Trucking is hiring a Dedicated Delivery Driver for a Dedicated Account in Geneva, IL. This is a full-time, day shift position with a start time of 6 am. Drivers will start and end their day in Geneva, IL, Monday through Friday. The company is family-owned and operated for 30 years with an "Employee First Mentality," dedicated to providing on-time service to customers. They are looking for experienced LTL drivers with a strong commitment to honesty, integrity, and customer service, who can excel in a fast-paced environment while being safe and efficient.

Requirements

Driver must be at least 23 years of age
Must have 2 years of experience driving a commercial vehicle
No more than 1 at-fault (preventable) accident in the last year
Clean MVR is a plus
Valid CDL with brakes endorsement

Responsibilities

Operate vehicle safely at all times
Comply with DOT Driver Log, pre-trip and post trip inspections
Label, sign and handle shipments according to DOT regulations and CXI Trucking procedures
Verify loads, equipment, and deliveries are secured prior to transportation
Operational knowledge of a pallet jack, two-wheel hand truck and lift-gate to assist in P & D operation
Ability to lift a minimum of 100lbs. safely
Ability to effectively read maps or utilize a GPS unit
Communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner
