About The Position
ICI Metals, a stable and growing metals distributor in Strongsville, OH, is looking for an experienced Class B CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, safety-minded driver who enjoys being on the road but wants to be home every night. Our drivers make local & interstate deliveries and vendor pickups throughout the area, transporting a variety of metal products.
Requirements
- Current Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
- Previous commercial flatbed driving experience.
- Safe and responsible driving habits.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to safely load, unload, and secure metal products.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Make same-day local & interstate deliveries — no overnight travel!
- Deliver metal products to customers and pick up materials from vendors.
- Safely transport a variety of materials, including flat-rolled products, bar, tubing, pipe, and other metal products.
- Secure loads properly to ensure safe transportation.
- Perform routine truck inspections and help keep assigned equipment clean and well maintained.
- Provide professional, courteous service to customers and vendors.
