About The Position

NFI is hiring a Class A CDL truck driver to haul dedicated freight for a customer. Drivers can choose regional routes or local/regional opportunities, with consistent freight, dependable schedules, and late-model equipment featuring advanced technology and safety features. The role includes performing routes, pickups, and deliveries according to customer requirements and safely operating and reporting on the vehicle and equipment. NFI provides in-house maintenance for an estimated 60% of its trucks and trailers.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a current Class A CDL from the state of residence.
• Have at least one year of relevant tractor-trailer experience.
• Provide acceptable references from past employers.
• Meet all applicable DOT qualifications.
• Be physically capable of performing the job duties, including frequent movement, standing, walking, sitting, handling and feeling objects, and reaching with hands and arms.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
• Be legally able to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
• Follow applicable federal and state laws and regulations, as well as customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Perform routes, pickups, and deliveries based on customer requirements.
• Report equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after the route.
• Safely and frequently enter and exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
