Truck Driver - CDL A Class A - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $66196 annually. Local, home daily. No touch, drop and hook. You will drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort. Trucks are equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all. Deliver corrugated products to customers locally, averaging 10 to 20 stops per week. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. Schedule is Monday through Friday with varied start times based on customer needs.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
- Must be able to see and hear
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
Responsibilities
- Deliver corrugated products to customers locally
- Average 10 to 20 stops per week
- Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
- Drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
- Operate trucks equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
