About The Position
Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Georgetown, KY — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly. Hourly Rate: $23.56 Per Hour. Schedule: Monday – Friday. Start Time: 5:15 PM. Deliver SOLO To: KY. Route: Local. Home Daily. Shuttle. Tractor Type: Day Cab. Trailer Type: Dry Van 53’. Freight: No Touch – Auto Parts. Strong Backing Skills Required. Company Paid Scale Bypass. Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.
Requirements
- 9 months or less of CDL driving experience
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Pass a Ryder background and a Motor Vehicle Registration check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A

Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
- Maintaining accurate records and logs
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding the checking in and out of freight
- Perform other duties as assigned
