About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Cincinnati, OH — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. This position offers a competitive salary, with drivers earning $1188.40 or more per week. The pay structure includes an hourly rate of $29.71 per hour for a 40+ hour work week. Additionally, drivers can benefit from a Loyalty Bonus of $1500 at 6 months and another $1500 at 1 year, as well as a Tenure Bonus of $300 paid quarterly. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekends, starting at 6:30 AM. Ryder provides paid training, including on all necessary equipment, and pays for uniforms and safety equipment. Drivers will operate well-maintained, safe trucks with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling support. The role involves delivering SOLO to OH and KY, with routes being local and home daily. The tractor type is a Day Cab, and the trailer type is Flatbed 48', 53’. Freight handling includes Touch & Load Securement – Steel and Metal, with tarping required in wet conditions. Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age
Pass a Ryder Drug Test
Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
