About The Position

Xcel Energy is seeking one or more Troubleman to be located at the St. Paul Service Center in St. Paul, MN. The starting pay for this position is $61.86 without shift differentials. This role involves being the first responder for overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission systems. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, work well with others, possess a positive attitude, and be committed to safety, quality customer service, customer satisfaction, and productivity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must presently hold a Journeyman Lineman Certificate.
• Must have a working knowledge of all phases of distribution, construction, maintenance, and operating.
• Must meet driver qualifications as specified.
• Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A Driver's license.
• Must be self-motivated and possess a positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds safely.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Troubleman and/or first responder experience is desired.
