AMPERA is seeking an experienced TRISO Process Development Scientist to lead the research, design, and optimization of advanced TRISO fuel particle fabrication for AMPERA’s compact micro-reactors. This role will focus on developing innovative fuel manufacturing processes, from kernel synthesis and coating deposition to final encapsulation and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in nuclear fuel processing, chemical vapor deposition (CVD), and high-temperature materials, along with experience translating laboratory-scale methods into scalable production processes compatible with additive manufacturing integration (Liquid Metal Jetting - LMJ).
