About The Position
This role is responsible for operating a Trim Press, ensuring crew safety, and maintaining 5S standards. The Trimmer will handle platters with care, operate the Trim Press within management-determined cycle times, and have the ability to make tongs. Key duties include the installation and removal of trim tooling, adjusting trim press shut height, assisting the hammer operator with adjustments and hammer key operations, visually monitoring and adjusting the air line for scale removal, visually inspecting product for defects, and reporting any issues with the cell or trim tooling.
Requirements
- Able to stand for 10 hours
- Manipulate the part through the process with tongs

Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of the crew while staying on top of 5S
- Operate Trim Press in the cycle time determined by management
- Handle platters with extreme care
- Make tongs
- Installation and removal of trim tooling
- Adjust trim press shut height
- Assist hammer operator on adjustments and knocking out or driving in hammer keys
- Visual monitor and adjust air line for removal of scale
- Visual monitor product for any defects
- Report any issues on cell or with trim tooling
