About The Position
This position involves operating a hydraulic trim press to remove flash from die castings, performing hand finishing, and visually inspecting parts to ensure they meet quality standards and print specifications. The role also includes sorting and packaging parts according to instructions and assisting with the housekeeping schedule. Employees will receive training on job tasks, including reading prints, identifying non-conformance issues, and operating various equipment.
Requirements
- No previous experience required.
- No post-secondary education required.
- Capable of working in a hot working environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate a hydraulic trim press to remove flash from die castings.
- Perform hand finishing.
- Visually inspect parts to ensure that they meet quality standards and conform to print specifications.
- Sort and package parts according to written or verbal instructions.
- Assist in adhering to the current housekeeping/cleaning schedule.
